Upgrading the Windows Client
This section describes how to upgrade the Windows client.
Upgrading the Software Client Using the Wizard
-
Download the latest version of the Windows client installer executable on the client machine.
-
Double-click the installer executable (pcoip-client.exe), and follow the steps on the wizard to complete the installation.
Updgrading the Software Client Silently
The silent upgrade is a two-step process where the current version is first uninstalled, followed by performing a fresh installation of the client from the Command Line. When installed silently, the installer uses default settings and options.
-
Uninstall the current version of the client.
-
Run the installer executable from the command line:
<path-to-installer>\pcoip-client.exe /S
where
<path-to-installer>
is the full path to the folder containing the pcoip-client.exe executable.
