This section describes how to install and uninstall the Anyware Software Client for macOS.
Before You Begin
Before installing a Anyware Software Client:
- You must be logged in as an administrator to the client machine.
- Close any existing Anyware Software Client applications.
Installing the Anyware Software Client

Download the PCoIPClient.dmg disk image file on the Mac machine.

Double-click the file to mount the volume.

Accept the license agreement by clicking Agree.

In the PCoIPClient volume window, drag the PCoIPClient icon into the Applications folder icon to install the program.

To optionally create an alias on the desktop or the dock:
- Double-click the Applications folder icon to open the folder.
- Drag the client application to the desktop or dock.

During installation, when prompted, grant the required permissions. A prompt will appear requiring you to grant Screen Recording permission to Anyware Client. The Accessibility prompt appears after you action the Screen Recording prompt.

On the Screen Recording prompt that appears, click Open System Settings.

Go to Privacy & Security, and turn on Screen Recording for Anyware Client.

On the Accessibility prompt that appears, click Open System Settings.

Go to Privacy & Security, and turn on Accessibility for Anyware Client.

Confirm that Anyware Client has been granted the required permissions:
- Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording.
- Ensure that screen recording is enabled for Anyware Client.
- Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
- Ensure that accessibility is enabled for Anyware Client.

To eject the volume when you are finished, drag it to the trash.

Restart the machine.
Installing the Software Client in Silent Mode
The following section outlines how to install the Anyware Software Client in silent mode. Note that you must authorize the application to run in silent mode.
Note: Permissions Require GUI
In order to grant Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions, the macOS client machine must display a graphical user interface. During installation, you must launch Anyware Client.app to grant user permissions.

Attach the
.dmg
file:yes | hdiutil attach <pcoip client installer>.dmg

Delete the current Anyware Client:
rm -R '/Applications/PCoIPClient.app'

Install the new Anyware Client:
cp -R '/Volumes/<pcoip client installer>/PCoIPClient.app' /Applications

Unmount the drive afterwards:
yes | hdiutil unmount <pcoip client installer>

Restart the machine.
Uninstalling the Anyware Software Client
- Navigate to the Applications folder and drag the PCoIPClient program to the trash. -OR- Right-click the application and select Move to Trash.
