PCoIP Management console 2.x or 3.x license activation fails with error "Operations error: 0 That activation request yields no right to a license".

Problem

When you try to activate the PCoIP Management Console license with this command "/opt/teradici/licensing/mc_activate_lic.sh -k <activation code> ", You get the error "Operations error: 0 That activation request yields no right to a license".

 

Cause

The activation code effective date is in the future. It cannot be activated before its effective date.

 

Workaround

You can activate the license starting from its effective date. If you need the license to be activated earlier please contact the customer service team.
