There are two ways to get a secure connection to the Administrative Web Interface (AWI) of a PCoIP Zero Client and PCoIP Remote Workstation Card.

  1. Load the cacert.pem file provided in our firmware to the browser Trusted Root Certification Authorities. The firmware also contains a text file - CA_root_certificate_installation.txt with instructions for each browser.
  2. If you have a SCEP server onsite you can always install your own trusted certificate to the AWI of the zero client. This method is a bit more complicated so please see - https://teradici.com/web-help/pcoip_zero_client/tera2/23.12/obtaining_certificates_using_scep/

For #1 here is a screen shot showing the zero client on the left and our PCoIP Root CA certificate that by default is in our firmware. On the right is your browser (Chrome) showing the same PCoIP Root CA certificate installed in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
This is probably the quickest and easiest way to ensure a secure connection. When the PCoIP Root CA certificate is installed in the browser you will also notice going from page to page in the AWI is much quicker.
