Please be advised the end-of-life process for PCoIP® License Server 1.x has been initiated. The License Server 1.x will be replaced with License Server 2.x.

License Server 2.x provides new security updates and features such as offline licensing and licensing via proxy.

License Server 1.x will no longer be available for download starting from January 31, 2018. General support and maintenance will continue to be provided until April 30, 2018.

Cloud Access Software licenses for License Server 2.x have changed. Prior to upgrading to License Server 2.x, please contact Teradici sales to request updated Cloud Access Software licenses be provided for your transition. Valid License Server 1.x customer licenses will continue to work with current PCoIP Agent releases up to and including Agent version 2.12.   License server 1.x will not be compatible with Agents 2.13 or newer.

Starting from January 31, 2018, all new Cloud Access Software (License Server) purchases or renewals will require License Server 2.x instead of License Server 1.x.

1. Will my end users be impacted after January 31 2018?
Your end users will continue to be able to connect to their remote desktops with existing valid licenses and License Server 1.x. Prior to upgrading to License Server 2.x, the licenses will need to be converted.

2. I am ready to update to License Server 2.x, what do I need to do next? 
Contact Teradici sales to convert your valid License Server 1.x licenses to License Server 2.x licenses. Please include your activations codes in the email. Ensure that PCoIP Agent 2.11 or newer is installed with your new licenses.  The lastest License Server 2.x release and installation instructions can be found here.

3. Can I continue using License Server 1.1 for new licenses or renewals created after January 31st? No, new licenses or renewals will require License Server 2.0 or cloud licensing.

4. What version of PCoIP Agent should I install with License Server 2.x licenses?
Install PCoIP Agent 2.11 or newer.
