Can I use VirtualBox to deploy the Management Console?

Answer:

Yes, both the OVA and the RPM release of the Management Console can be installed in VirtualBox however HP Anyware do not support the Management Console when deployed in this manner.
While it will work it has not be tested and will not be added to our test plan.

If deploying the OVA when trying to connect to the console VM you may have problems logging in. We have tracked this issue to the fact that some keys repeat. As a workaround use the soft keyboard for VirtualBox.
If deploying the RPM and you are using your own distribution of Linux then use the account you set up on your VM initially to log into the console VM.

In both install cases the web interface user name and password will be the same admin / password. You are required to change the web interface password for user admin on first login.
